Staying at this hotel was like a dream come true. The rooms are simply stunning with beautiful views, ultra-comfortable beds, and a touch of modern elegance. The service was exceptional, with staff going above and beyond to make our stay perfect. The location is unbeatable, offering a tranquil setting by Lake Superior and easy access to Canal Park. While the dining experience left something to be desired, the overall stay was one of the best I've ever had.

Rooms
9.0
The rooms are more than a step above the competition when it comes to modern aesthetics, service, location, and ease. Beautiful views and ultra-comfortable beds.
Service
9.0
The service was exceptional, with staff always pleasant, friendly, and willing to help in every way they can. They took particular attention to ensure our comfort during our stay.
Location
9.0
The location is great, offering a quiet setting by Lake Superior and easy access to Canal Park. It's truly a gem rising from the harbor of Duluth/Superior.
Dining
6.0
The dining experience was disappointing as the restaurant offerings were not extraordinary as expected. However, the delicious cinnamon french toast redeemed the experience.
Facilities
7.0
The general store in the lobby offers minimal snacks and beverages, pushing guests towards the restaurant. It would be nice to have more variety available without being directed to the restaurant.

7.4/10

Staying at this hotel was a mixed experience. The room was extra clean and had a nice view of the harbor from the patio, but the loud band playing until midnight on a Saturday could be bothersome for those who prefer to sleep early on weekends. It felt like a downgrade from a luxury stay to a more basic motel setup.

Rooms
7.0
The room was extra clean and had a nice view of the harbor from the patio, but the noise from the band until midnight on Saturday may not suit early sleepers on weekends. It felt more like a basic motel setup.
Service
8.0
The hotel staff were very nice and accommodating, easily moving our rooms without any hassle. However, they could improve on communication about amenities and facilities.
Location
9.0
The location was great, offering a unique view of the harbor and Lake Superior. The hot tub on Lake Superior was a standout feature. However, being near off-leash dogs in a public area might not appeal to everyone.
Dining
6.0
The dining experience was a mixed bag. While some meals were delicious, others were disappointing. It seemed limited to specific venues like the Silos restaurant only.
Facilities
7.0
The facilities were adequate, providing basic amenities but nothing extraordinary. It could benefit from more diverse options for guests.

Staying at the hotel was a truly delight. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, and equipped with the coziest armchair. However, the noise could be a bit annoying. On the bright side, the views from our room were excellent, offering a glimpse of the lift bridge and the surrounding areas.

Rooms
9.0
The rooms are big and highly comfortable, with larger-than-usual bathrooms and showers. The upholstered armchair was a must for me to return.
Service
9.0
The service was amazing, with a staff willing to assist everyone. They even offered to put me on a waitlist, showing top-notch service and wonderful amenities.
Location
10.0
The location is gorgeous, rising from the harbor of Duluth/Superior and right on Lake Superior. It's close to everything and offers excellent views.
Dining
7.0
The onsite dining experience was worthwhile, even though it lacked some breakfast options. The dinner there rates fairly low, but the Iberian products were a highlight.
Facilities
8.0
The hotel facilities offer everything you need for a pleasant stay, from room service to a free airport shuttle. However, a little out of the way for some.
